A seasonal snowboarder myself and with a lot of my free time spent in the Japanese Alps, I was pleased to accept a project from Outdoor Japan Magazine.

 

Outdoor Japan was in a tight situation at the end of the year, without a designer or an editor to create the winter publication, and with the winter holidays drawing near they were in need of some assistance. I was available to give some much-needed help and with the great communicational skills of Rie Miyoshi (Outdoor Japan Media Producer), I was able to layout the entire magazine from front to back within a 3 day window, creating multiple stories spreads (in both English & Japanese), some tourist information and advertising campaigns, and resort guides. We succeeded in meeting the print deadline and the magazine successfully went to press not excluding some hurdles along the way. Thank you Outdoor Japan!
